The De-Knoop Cup
The De-Knoop Cup is a second-team competition. It is open to clubs that have also entered the Brunner Cup. Teams consist of ten players, who must not have played in the Brunner or Norman cups in the same season. Matches are played on neutral greens.
It has been played for annually since 1911.
2008 competition dates
Due to the number of entries, the previously scheduled date for the first round will not be used. The competition starts on 17 May.
Rounds are played on Saturdays (2.30pm start) as follows:

The draw was made at the council meeting on 18 March. There were 27 entrants, so five clubs receive a bye to the second round.
